The synagogue is located a the corner of Hyde Park Boulevard and Greenwood Avenue.
Due to our famous neighbor, you may only enter KAM Isaiah Israel from Greenwood Avenue, not Hyde Park Boulevard. Please be aware of this when joining us for a program or event. Also, please bring a Photo ID for everyone in your party, excluding children. The security checkpoint is at 50th Street and Greenwood Ave. Once through the checkpoint, you will be able to park in KAMII's parking lot. Or you may park on a nearby street and enter the checkpoint by foot.
From the North: Take Lake Shore Drive south to the 47th Street exit. Turn right at the stop sign, and proceed west through two stoplights. At the stop sign at Greenwood Avenue, turn left (south). Continue on Greenwood Avenue to 50th Street and approach the Secret Service checkpoint. After clearance, proceed through the checkpoint for a half a block. The synagogue parking lot is on the left side of Greenwood Avenue, immediately before the second set of barricades.
From the South: Take Lake Shore Drive north to the 47th Street exit. Turn left at the stop sign and proceed west through two stoplights. At the stop sign at Greenwood Avenue, turn left (south). From the Dan Ryan Expressway (90/94): Take the 47th Street exit, proceeding east until Greenwood Avenue. Turn right at Greenwood Avenue.
