Brit Milah (Circumcision) and Baby Naming:  The clergy of KAM Isaiah Israel Congregation are available to assist with brit milah and the naming of your baby, either in your home or at the synagogue as part of a regularly secheduled service.  For brit milah, we work with several mohalim (ritual circumcisers) in the area.  We recommend that you contact the clergy a couple of months before the expected birth or arrival of your child in order to make arrangements. 

Consecration:  Students in kindergarten and above who are beginning their religious education at KAM Isaiah Israel Congregation are invited to participate in the Consecration ceremony as part of our observance of Atzeret-Simchat Torah.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah:  Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies are held on Saturday morning as part of our regular Shabbat worship.  The requirements for Bar/Bat Mitzvah can be found here.  We will make every effort to accommodate children with special needs.

Marriage:  The clergy of KAM Isaiah Israel Congregation are available to officiate at the marriage of members of the congregation.  Officiation at the marriage of non-members is at the discretion of the individual clergyperson. Since each member of the clergy has his/her own requirements for conducting a wedding, it is best to contact the clergy directly.  When planning a wedding, members are advised to set a date with the clergy before making any other commitments (such as caterer, band, etc.).

Funerals:  The clergy of KAM Isaiah Israel Congregation are available to conduct funeral services for members of the congregation.  In the event of a death, please contact Linda Ross at 773.924.1234.  Cemetery plots are available at Mt. Mayriv at Addison and Naragansett (contact David Gale at 773.736.2553).  The clergy of the congregation are also available to conduct or organize shiva minyans in the home following the funeral.
