We are looking forward to our community High Holy Days together, though this year our "together" will look different than anything we have ever experienced. We are committed to to helping you have a High Holy Days that comforts you and brings you meaning. We recognize that the entire list of possibilities is far more than any one person could attend! That is why we have curated suggested combinations of experiences below. We invite you to participate live, where applicable, or watch a recording at the right time for you.
If you have any questions about the schedule or anything that will help you have a more meaningful High Holy Day experience with us, please contact us at kamii@kamii.org or 773-924-1234.
Send a virtual New Year's greeting to our community, share a photo or video, or let us know your wishes for the New Year! Visit our Kudoboard.
Please help support our High Holy Day services and programs. Click here to make a donation that goes directly to supporting the entire High Holy Day experience.

Technical questions
Contact us at kamii@kamii.org for help and answers. We will also be available via phone during office hours and during services. We can help with technical questions about how to access High Holy Day videos and streams and other issues you're having. You can purchase prayerbooks for the holidays or access them electronically.
Zoom experiences
Experiences available via Zoom, such as the family services and text discussions, are open to anyone. We do not publicly post Zoom links, meeting IDs, or passcodes. If you do not receive our emails and would like to participate in these Zoom experiences, contact kamii@kamii.org or 773-924-1234.
Fresh Food Initiative
Instead of a canned food drive during the High Holy Days, we request donations to our Fresh Food Initiative. These funds allow our food justice and sustainability program to provide fresh food to those in need during the winter, when our urban farm is asleep.
Our live-streamed experiences will be viewable directly at https://venue.streamspot.com/65253eb6. They can also be viewed on our Facebook page. Shanah tovah!
Book of Remembrance
The completed book will be available here closer to the High Holy Days. A printed copy can be mailed upon request.
Safety
We are very concerned with the health and safety of our clergy, staff, and members, and our services and events prioritize this above all else. Read Rabbi Reeves's message to learn more about the steps we're taking.
High Holy Day Kit
Our team of volunteers, staff and clergy have put together a kit for each member household of KAM Isaiah Israel in Chicagoland. These kits were distributed on September 13 and include a collection of items that you can view, hold, and even taste as you bring in the Jewish New Year.
Honey cake
To get ready for Rosh haShanah, let's make a traditional favorite, honey cake! The recipe card was included in the mailing to KAM Isaiah Israel members in early September. Click here to see the video about how to make it.
