We are looking forward to our community High Holy Days together. We are excited to welcome you back into the sanctuary for our High Holy Days services.

Seating for Services

Capacity is limited for in-person services, so to reserve a spot for you, your family, and your guests, please fill out this form as soon as you can.

After weighing all the important factors, especially health and safety, our COVID-19 Task Force has recommended that we limit capacity for High Holy Days to 225 people per service. This means that during the High Holy Days each member at KAM Isaiah Israel will be able to attend one of our our four most popular services in person (Erev Rosh haShanah, Rosh haShanah Day 1, Erev Yom Kippur and Yom Kippur morning). Priority for these four services will be given to KAMII members first and then guests of members, if space allows.

If you have any questions relating to precautions for COVID, the schedule, or anything that will help you have a more meaningful High Holy Day experience with us, please contact us at kamii@kamii.org or 773-924-1234

SUPPORT KAM ISAIAH ISRAEL

Please help support our High Holy Day services and programs. Click here to make a donation that goes directly to supporting the entire High Holy Day experience.

FRESH FOOD INITIATIVE

Instead of a canned food drive during the High Holy Days, we request donations to our Fresh Food Initiative. These funds allow our food justice and sustainability program to provide fresh food to those in need during the winter, when our urban farm is asleep.

Book of remembrance

The Book of Remembrance will be available to pick up during High Holy Day services. If you would like to have a copy mailed to you, please email the KAM Isaiah Israel office to make arrangements. Click here for digital access.

Prayer Books

You can purchase prayerbooks for the holidays  or access them electronically.

angry with god

Working together with pianist Chris Mahieu and string players Alexa Muhly and Dan Golden, Cantor David Berger presents seven songs of Jewish tradition and experience that give voice to feelings of hurt and anger with God. We invite you to view the videos here.

Family Experiences

Our creative Shoresh team, families, and youth group have incredible ideas for engaging, fun events for the High Holy Day. Click here to see details and pre-register.

Meditative Walk

This map is designed to inspire your personal reflections and meditations which you can take anywhere. Last year's High Holy Days Working Group conceptualized the map, member Luke Joyner created the artwork, and Rabbi Reeves narrated an accompanying audio.  Audio Downloadable Map

Our live-streamed experiences will be viewable directly here. They can also be viewed on our Facebook page. Like last year, we will have Zoom lobbies available for those who chose to attend services virtually. We are looking forward to fellowshipping with you! Shanah tovah!
