9th Annual Erev Midsummer Potluck Party

Saturday, June 23 at 6:00 PM
(rain or shine)

In the farming world, June 24 is considered Midsummer Day - midpoint of the growing season, halfway between the start of the planting and the final harvest. To celebrate the work our KAM Isaiah Israel farmers have done to date, and to help them forget about (at least for the evening) all the work they have ahead, let’s all gather in the garden, eat, drink (i.e. make merry), and read aloud, together, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Please bring a dish to share, something hard or soft to drink, a copy of the play (we’ll have 20 on hand), a lawn chair or picnic blanket, and a flash light, lantern or candle. RSVP to foodjustice@kamii.org to let us know what you’re bringing.
