Sinai Health System's COVID-19 Information Hotline — 773.257.COV2 ext. 2682 — is available for medical questions.

JUF Uptown Cafe is providing current  EZRA clients with meals to go. If you want to be considered for EZRA services please call 773.467.3846 and leave your name, phone number and reason for calling.

The ARK is accepting new clients while continuing to provide essential services to existing ones.

SHALVA is the oldest independent, Jewish domestic abuse agency in the United States and has been instrumental in facilitating national and international dialogues on the specific needs of Jewish families experiencing domestic violence. SHALVA carries out its mission by providing counseling, supportive services and community education.

JCFS Chicago

Financial help during COVID-19: Are you or someone you know unable to make your next rent payment, worried about how to pay your next utility bill or unsure where your next meal is coming from? JCFS Chicago has emergency funds available and is here to help. Their Financial Assistance and Counseling program is prepared to ensure quick access to emergency financial support. Support Groups

General Loss Groups: Support group for adults, meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month 7:30-8 pm and the 4th Monday of each month 6:30-8:00pm

Grieving a Loss to COVID-19: This new bi-monthly drop-in group for adults grieving the death of a loved one to COVID-19 is now forming. Contact Marsha Raynes, LCSW at 847.745.5408.

Grieving a Loss to Suicide: Group for adults who are navigating the world after the loss of a loved one to suicide, meets on the 4th Thursday of the month from 7-8:30pm, co-sponsored by JCFS Chicago, No Shame On U, and MISSD (The Medication-Induced Suicide Prevention and Education Foundation in Memory of Stewart Dolin). Hand in Hand Grief Support: New grief support group for adults 55 and younger mourning the death of a spouse or partner in the last two years. This group is supported by the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss and JCFS Chicago. Contact Marsha Raynes, LCSW at 847.745.5408.

Jewish Compassion/Chesed Meditation: Over the course of four weekly sessions, learn and practice a meditation together, discuss Jewish texts and your own experience of Divine blessing, protection, and peace. Meetings will be held on Wednesday, from 11am-12pm. Contact Beth Fishman, PhD at 847.745.5422.
