Sukkot Festival Service & BYO Lunch
Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 @ 10:15am | Lunch 12:00pm

Join us in the Sukkah to celebrate the harvest festival and reflect on the themes of gratitude and nature. Special prayers will also be included to commemorate the anniversary of the devastating attack in Israel on October 7, 2023. Bring a lunch to enjoy in the sukkah afterward.

Sacred Aging Lunch & Learn
Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 @ 12:00pm

Bring a lunch and join us in the sukkah for a special session on the topic of sacred aging. On Sukkot, we read the book of Kohelet (Eccleiastes), which is said to be written by King Solomon at the end of his life. What lessons (and cautions) does the book offer about aging? How can we apply ancient wisdom to today’s world?

Sukkot concludes with Simchat Torah, the festival that celebrates the end of our annual Torah-reading cycle and our rush to start again at the Beginning. Services will be suffused with teaching and music about the Torah; and as we roll from Deuteronomy to Genesis, we will review highlights of our sacred story that wait for us as we embark on another year of study and prayer.

Simchat Torah/Shmini Atzeret Yizkor Service
Tuesday, Oct. 14 @ 10:15 am

This festival service includes Hallel and Yizkor as well as the transition in the Jewish calendar to our period of praying for rain in its season.

Torah Party & Consecration

We sing, we dance, we surround ourselves with Torah! Join us for the unforgettable unscrolling of the Torah, where we all have a chance to hold the sacred scroll and read from its beginning and end.
