🧭 Community Adventures (8th–10th grades):

This year’s theme is Comparative Religion: Explore how different local religious communities pray, celebrate, and take care of each other.

Tuition: $800 for eight monthly sessions, dates and locations TBD, focusing on Sunday mornings.

🎓 Confirmation (10th grade):

  • Monthly meetings with the Rabbi on Saturday mornings at KAMII.
  • L’Taken trip, Jan 8-11, 2027, to Washington, D.C.
  • Lead a culminating confirmation service in the spring
  • Be memorialized on the KAMII photo wall for all eternity
  • Volunteer at KAMII community holiday celebrations

Tuition: $1800, subject to change in case of surging travel prices.

🌱Madrichim in Training (8th-12th grades)

Work in our Shoresh Shabbat School on Shoresh Fridays. Meet with an experienced high school teacher monthly on Saturday mornings to learn leadership skills, classroom management, and other life lessons through a Jewish lens.

This program is a prerequisite to join the paid Madrichim program in future years.

🌟Madrichim (9th-12th graders who meet eligibility requirements):

Work in our Shoresh Shabbat School.

  • Earn community service hours or be paid.
  • Stand out on college applications.
  • Be a stronger candidate for summer work.
  • Cultivate relationships in the community for babysitting jobs.
  • Make a positive impact upon students and our learning community.

Eligibility: 9th-12th graders who have completed Madrichim in Training, one year in the Madrichim program, or similar at the discretion of the Director.
