Learning
Learning—at any age—has always been an important pillar at KAM Isaiah Israel. Our educational opportunities make learning possible for those who are new to Judaism, those who have studied for many years, those who know Hebrew and those who do not, and people of any age and background.
Our Shabbat-based religious school, Shoresh, gives students Jewish roots for life. Students grow to be curious, engaged, and active in Judaism throughout their lives.
Regular learning opportunities such as weekly Torah study and Shabbat morning learning are mainstays of our community. We also bring renowned Jewish scholars to Chicago through our scholar-in-residence programs.
In addition to Shoresh, we host family programs for children and parents to come together to build relationships with Judaism and each other.
