Treasures from the Janowski Archive, Volume I
Treasures from the Janowski Archive, Volume I
25 years after the passing of our beloved Max Janowski his music still reverberates in our sanctuary, and in synagogues and concert halls around the world. In the words of Rabbi Jacob Weinstein, Max gave “the words of the Siddur the wings of impassioned songs and created echo chambers in the hearts of worshipers where thoughts too profound for words could find a home.”
In honor of his 25th yahrzeit, we at KAM Isaiah Israel are publishing a selection of never before published compositions and arrangements. The pieces in this book have been meticulously curated and edited by Cantor David Berger to be truly useful and perform-able in contemporary synagogues.
