KAMII Women's Group

The KAMII Women’s Group is for all adults in the KAM Isaiah Israel community who identify themselves as women.

The primary purpose is for women to meet new people and create community.  There are many activities that are flowing from our get-togethers and continuing to emerge from the group according to the desires and ideas of group members.  Opportunities are available to organize your own programs and events or just show up. Please fill out the form below to be added to our mailing list.

Upcoming Events & Projects

Book Salon on The Color of Love: The Story of a Mixed-Race Jewish Girl, by Marra B. Gad
Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 PM in the KAMII Library.
Come together with other women in the KAMII community to discuss this unforgettable memoir about a mixed-race Jewish woman, who after fifteen years of estrangement from her racist great-aunt, helps bring her home when Alzheimer's strikes.

Bibliodrama Through a Women's Lens,
Unfortunately, this event has been postponed.
Bibliodrama explores our Bible stories in a deep and experiential way, through role-playing. We fill in the gaps in the text with imagination and improvisation, looking at the story through a women's lens. During our Bibliodrama, the facilitator will ask a question.  She will invite the participants to step into a role of a Biblical figure, lending our voices to the story, and answering the question in the first person, as if the Biblical story were our own.
